Welcome to Ha-Lu
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Ha-Lu.
Ha-Lu offers Perth diners authentic Japanese cuisine, rarely seen outside of Japan. The style of dining can be likened to the famous Izakaya, where diners can partake of various meals that are presented on an "as it comes" basis. For those that are unfamiliar with this style of dining, it opens the dining experience to a far greater social level.
Ha-Lu has a full, comprehensive a la carte menu available for dine in. For those that may want to pop in on their way home, a take-away menu is also available. |

Opening hours
Ha-Lu is open seven days per week, commencing at 6pm.
Bookings are reccommended to avoid disappointment.
A new HaLu???
We are very pleased to announce that HaLu will be opening a new outlet in Subiaco.
Our anticiapted opening will be Sept 08.
The concept will be very similar to our current HaLu in Mount Hawthorn. However, in our new restaurant, there will be a greater emphasis on sushi and sashimi.
We promise to keep you posted with new developments

Ha-Lu has introduced subtle changes to our current menu. Something new to discover and enjoy.
But worry not for those that are in love with our current menu, many of your favorites will still be available. |

The year that was......
At Ha-Lu, we recently completed our first year of trade. We would like to thank all of our customers that have helped to make Ha-Lu a success.
In our first year of trade, we have been warmly received by all. In addition, Ha-Lu has been a finalist in the Gold Plate Awards and the Restaurant & Catering Assoc Awards.
Our future is bright and we look forward to welcoming you back, or welcoming you in for your first experience.

Sake for you?
In many Japanese restaurants, you will find sake or sochu bottles wearing their own "neck tie". This generally indicates that the bottle has been purchased by a patron and is available for their exclusive use when dining in the restaurant. HaLu actually goes one better.
If there is a particular sake or sochu that you would like to consume when dining at HaLu (and it is not currently available), let us know so that we can source the bottle exclusively for you.

Going green
We are trying. HaLu has teamed up with BioWorks to recycle our used cooking oil. The used oil will now be treated and the end result will be Biodiesel, a renewable energy source.
Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, non-toxic, carbon neutral, and essentially free of sulphur and aromatics. |
